Courtney was recruited to Snapchat to create an innovative & culturally-driven company after working for multiple years in consulting. She creates and manages teams in the People Operations space that are driven culturally and execute accordingly, whether in recruiting, engagement, performance, and learning and development. She is a strategic thinker, relationship builder, and individual, team, & company architect. Courtney enjoys working in the talent ecosystem, driving companies to their best performance through their people. She has worked for top names like Snapchat, The Stevenson Group, Medstartr, Egon Zehnder International & UBS.


Erica Argos

Erica joined the firm Guggenheim Partners in December of 2014 as Senior Associate, Human Resources in
Santa Monica. Under the Human Resources Business Partner, Erica carries out daily HR activities including recruiting and on boarding new hires, the termination process including submitting termination documents and exit
interviews, daily personnel activities, advancement, employee relations and more. 

Prior to joining Guggenheim, Erica worked at Crescent Capital Group, a small spin-off of TCW as HR Coordinator. Before Crescent, Erica worked at Adams & Martin Group downtown Los Angeles where she focused on Legal recruiting for large law firms. 


Ashley Vasquez

Ashley is the social media marketing content manager for one of the largest customer-owned health insurance companies in the Unites States and also works with small businesses, startups and individual clients. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's in digital communications. Originally from Illinois, she currently lives in Hermosa Beach and loves to travel. She'll be shedding light on the social aspect of job hunting and how you can use social media to get discovered. 


DJ Cabeen

DJ is an agency recruiter with Ledgent Finance & Accounting, a Roth Staffing company. Ledgent Finance & Accounting is recognized as the best staffing firm in the U.S. They specialize in hiring finance and accounting professionals for contract and full-time positions at accounting firms and F&A corporate departments. Prior to Ledgent DJ was with Accountemps at Robert Half. DJ has joined our panel to help give perspective on the corporate finance career path. 


Jason N. Argos

Jason's practice is focused on entertainment, media and sports law matters, with an emphasis on intellectual property rights and technology. Mr. Argos joins Sedgwick from an established civil litigation trial firm, where he managed multiple cases and had hands-on case responsibility and direct client contact from pleading stage to trial. He has served as the lead attorney on over 75 plaintiff depositions and over 30 expert witness depositions. He has defended numerous physicians and other health care professionals at their depositions and has over five years of medical malpractice litigation experience. Mr. Argos is skilled at preparing for and administering successful arbitrations for his clients. He has been designated as a Southern California Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in both 2015 and 2016. Jason brings a unique perspective to the hiring process and understands what the top firms in Los Angeles are looking for.
