In support of the national application phase for Red Bull Amaphiko Academy Baltimore, we have an intimate storytelling workshop coming to LA on April 6th. With a focus on reaching social entrepreneurs and grassroots change makers, we are inviting and opening RSVP’s to those who can potentially be a great candidate for the academy.

What is a Red Bull Amaphiko storytelling workshop?

Our workshops are events that aim to empower and inspire attendees to use the power of story as a tool to accomplish their goals. We collaborated with GOOD to feature change-makers from a variety of local to global businesses all with a clear purpose of social good. Our main goal of these workshops is to drive and recruit prospective Amaphiko Academy applicants. Do you know anyone who would be interested?

How can you support?

We encourage you to share the application with any emerging local grassroots changemakers you know who would benefit from this the most. If you have someone that is a fit to attend the workshop and apply, please let me know. As space is limited, we want to ensure that the attendees reflect who we are looking for. Feel free to reach out to janel.jimenez@us.redbull.com directly with any questions and suggestions.

What is the Red Bull Amaphiko Academy Baltimore?

The Red Bull Amaphiko Academy is a launchpad for grassroots social entrepreneurs who are making a positive difference in their community. Over the course of 10 days, participants receive inspiration and mentorship, as well as the practical skills and tools needed to take their projects to the next level. Started in 2014, the Academy has been hosted in South Africa and Brazil; this year it will touch down in the US for the very first time, taking place August 11-20 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Applications are now open and close on April 30, 2017. For more information, visit the website here.
